NEWSNOW | COLOMBO – One person died and 40 others sustained injuries when a bus veered off the road in the Pahala Kadugannawa area in Mawanella.
According to the Police, the bus was carrying a group of students from the Addalaichenai National College Of Education. The police added that 50 persons were in the bus at the time of the accident.
The injured have been admitted to the Kandy and Mawanella hospitals.
