National Movement Against Unlawfulness

The first rally of the United National Party’s new ‘National movement against unlawfulness’ was held today (08 Feb).

Speaking at the first rally, opposition Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe said that efforts will be made to completely defeat unlawfulness while democracy, peace and lawfulness will once again rule the society.

He noted that it was the duty of all political parties to unite against unlawful acts.

Mr. Wickremasinghe went on to say that it is the public that has had to endure distress due to the violations against human rights, democracy and the law.
