Report On Prison Riot Due Tomorrow

The special three-person committee which was set up to probe the Welikada Magazine prison riot will deliver their report by tomorrow.
According to the Rehabilitation and Prisons Reform Ministry, the committee met last evening to deliberate on the details of the initial investigations.
The 32 people who were injured in the riots are still receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.
Furthermore, the damages caused by the rioting are estimated around 7.5 million rupees.
