Complaints Regarding Bus Tickets Increases

The Sri Lanka Transport Board stated that the number of complaints received by the public with regards to the non issuance of bus tickets to passengers has increased.

It is compulsory that a bus ticket is issued to all passengers of the bus. However even after the conductors of buses, especially in the Western Province have been advised that the rule should be followed they have still failed to issue tickets to all passengers.

Therefore the SLTB had stated that they will probe into the issue to reduce the amount complaints with this regard.
