Intelligence Unit To Take Over Prison Department

The Ministry of rehabilitation and prison reforms stated that the prison department will be taken under the intelligence unit.
The Minister of Rehabilitation and Prison Reforms, Chandrasiri Gaja deera stated that the main aim of this process is to strengthen the prison department and that no changes will be made with the positions of the prison officials and the intelligence unit will carry out their duties as usual.
