Over 200 Hacking Complaints in 2012

Over 200 complaints of hacking into emails and websites have been reported in Sri Lanka in 2012.
Chief engineer of SLCERT Rohana Palliyaguru said that there had been over 200 complaints so far of email accounts and websites being hacked in Sri Lanka in 2012.

He further said that there had been another 200 complaints of Facebook hacking and around 10 other hackings regarding e mail and website hackings this year.

CERT sources said it had not received any complaints from prominent persons in the country including politicians this year.
