Police Uncover Extortion Gang In Galle Prison

Police have cracked an extortion racket that originated within the Galle Prison and arrested a suspect in remand said to be the mastermind behind the operation.
They stated that the gang had operated on mobile phones from the Prison to give contracts to their outside gangs to extort money from businessmen.
The suspect is now being questioned by a special police team.
