14 Treasure Hunters Remanded

A group of people who were engaged in treasure hunting at a reservation at Ulpatha in the China Harbor have been detained by the Police Special Task Force.
The suspects are residents of the area and the equipment used by those people had also been apprehended.
Suspects were remanded after they were produced before the Trincomalee Magistrate Courts.
The China Harbour Police are conducting further investigations.
